Retirement Resident

Welcome to the 670 Residents' Council Association.

The 670 Residents Council Association is a Not-For-Profit association, reporting only to the residents registered with the NS Registry of Joint Stocks under the Societies Act.  Our purpose is to build a caring community in our building by helping residents maintain an active lifestyle and engagement in their well-being.

About the Council:

  • The Council Board of Directors meets monthly
  • The Board consists of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary and a representative from each of the 5 floors at the Pemberley.
  • Floor Representative meetings with residents on their floors are held once a year
  • The Annual General Meeting is held in February/March of each year.
  • Questions /Suggestions for consideration of the Council can be submitted to your floor representative
  • Soon after each board meeting, minutes are posted online, on online and on the bulletin boards
  • The Residents’ Council collects refundables to provide operational funding. The collection container is in the parkade next to the door from the elevators.  Check the poster for items that are eligible for refund.
  • An annual donation is made to a non-profit that serves our residents, is made in memory of any resident(s) who have passed
  • Twice a year a Food Drive is held to support the local Food Bank. Watch for notices.
  • We support 2 garden sites, at the west end of the property and at the gazebo.  Gardening in these sites is done by residents.
  • The Residents’ Council has organized in-house vaccination clinics provided by Brookline Pharmacy for the last several years for Covid and Influenza vaccination.
